When should we book our wedding photographer?
Most couples book 12–18 months before their wedding, especially for spring and fall dates in New Jersey. If your wedding is sooner, don't hesitate to reach out. There's always a chance your date is still available!
Do you require a retainer?
Yes. A non-refundable retainer and signed contract are required to secure your wedding date.
How far do you travel?
Travel within my included service area is covered. For weddings outside that area, a custom travel quote will be provided before booking.
Should we do a First Look?
There's no right or wrong answer! It depends on your vision for your wedding day. A First Look allows for more portraits before the ceremony and often creates a more relaxed timeline, while waiting until the aisle preserves that traditional moment. I work with both!!
What if it rains?
Rain doesn't have to ruin your wedding photos. Some of my favorite images have been captured on rainy days! We'll adapt the timeline if needed, embrace covered locations, I have a camera jacket, and we'll create beautiful photographs regardless of the weather.
What should we wear?
I recommend neutral colors, timeless outfits, and coordinating rather than matching. Once you're booked, you'll receive an engagement session style guide filled with outfit inspiration and helpful tips.
What happens if it rains during our engagement session?
If the weather isn't cooperating, we'll either embrace it or reschedule for the next available date.
Do you photograph family portraits?
Absolutely! Before your wedding, we'll create a family photo list together so portraits are organized, efficient, and stress-free.
Do you work with a second photographer?
Many of my collections include a second photographer to provide additional angles, candid moments, and comprehensive coverage throughout your wedding day.
How will we receive our gallery?
Your images are delivered in a beautiful online gallery where you can download high-resolution photographs, share them with family and friends, and order professional prints.
Do you provide the RAW files?
No. RAW files are unfinished images and are not included. Every delivered photograph is carefully edited to reflect the quality and style of my work.
Can we order prints later?
Absolutely. Your online gallery makes it easy to purchase professional-quality prints, framed artwork, and albums at any time.
We're awkward in front of the camera. Can you help?
Definitely! Nearly every couple tells me this before their session. I'll guide you with simple prompts and natural movement so your photographs feel genuine, relaxed, and uniquely you.
How do we reserve our wedding date?
Your wedding date is officially reserved once your contract is signed and your retainer has been paid. Until both are completed, your date remains available for other inquiries.
Do you travel?
Absolutely! I photograph weddings throughout New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and destinations beyond. If you're planning a destination wedding or elopement, I'd love to hear all about it.
Do you help us plan our wedding photography timeline?
Yes! Every wedding collection includes timeline guidance to help your day flow smoothly while ensuring plenty of time for beautiful photographs while spending time with your friends and family.
Do you help with posing?
Absolutely! Most couples tell me they're nervous about being in front of the camera. I'll guide you naturally so your photos feel effortless, genuine, and true to your relationship, not stiff or overly posed.
Are engagement sessions included?
Many of my wedding collections include a complimentary engagement session. It's a wonderful opportunity for us to get to know each other before your wedding day while helping you become comfortable in front of the camera.
Can we bring our dog?
Absolutely! Pets are always welcome as long as your location allows them. I simply recommend bringing a friend or family member to help care for them when they're not in the photos.
How many photos will we receive?
Rather than guaranteeing a specific number, I focus on delivering every meaningful image that tells the complete story of your day. Most wedding galleries include several hundred carefully edited photographs.
Will you help us stay on schedule?
Yes! I work closely with you and your planner to keep the day running smoothly while making sure you never feel rushed.
How long does it take to receive our photos?
You'll receive a handful of sneak peeks within 72 hours of your wedding. Your fully edited gallery is delivered within the timeframe outlined in your contract.
Do you edit every image?
Yes. Every image you receive is individually hand-edited in my signature style for consistency and quality.
Do you offer wedding albums?
Yes! I offer handcrafted heirloom albums designed to preserve your wedding memories for generations as an add on option.
